Interactive video is not a new idea. What's new is an agency that actually knows how to do it properly: end to end, from the first creative thought to the final line of code.

Most production companies can make you a video. A handful can bolt some clickable elements onto it and call it interactive. What almost none of them can do is design an experience that has been properly thought through, where the interactivity isn't decorative, but purposeful. Where the creative concept is built around participation from day one. Where the technology is bespoke, the storytelling is professional, and the whole thing is informed by a genuine understanding of what makes people engage, learn, and act.

That's the gap we set out to fill. We built Rebel Rooster because we'd seen what interactive content could do when it was done well... and how rarely it actually was. We were tired of watching brands and organisations spend serious budget on content that looked good in a pitch deck and flat-lined in the real world. Passive content in an era of shrinking attention spans is a waste of everyone's time and money. There is a better way. And we know how to build it.

We've built interactive experiences for some of the world's most recognisable organisations — UN agencies, global brands, international NGOs, and fast-growing businesses — and we've watched what happens when an audience goes from watching something to being inside it. Tourism campaigns where watch time increased 500% overnight. Training courses deployed to field workers across multiple countries, where learners who'd tuned out of conventional e-learning couldn't stop talking about what they'd just done. Sales tools that turned passive product browsing into active buying decisions. Engagement campaigns where audiences spent ten, fifteen, twenty minutes with a brand...and not because they were told to, but because they genuinely didn't want to stop.

Interactive video works. Not as a gimmick, not as a novelty. As a fundamentally more effective way to communicate, teach, and sell. Once you've seen it land, really land, it's very hard to go back to a world where your audience just watches and clicks away.

A lot of agencies claim to be end-to-end. What that usually means in practice is a production company that outsources the interactive build to a developer they've worked with twice, or a tech platform that adds a layer of video on top of a template. The creative and the technical exist in separate silos, and the result shows. At Rebel Rooster, our creative team, production team, and development team work together from day one: which is the only way to build interactive content that actually makes sense as a whole. Our developers aren't implementing someone else's creative after the fact. Our creatives aren't designing around limitations they discover too late. The ideas are built to work, technically and creatively, from the first conversation.

On top of that, for our education work, we go further still by bringing in learning scientists, neuroscientists, and subject matter specialists who help design courses that are genuinely effective, not just impressively built. No other interactive video company does this. As far as we know, no one else even comes close.
